I love this movie
I really loved this sweet, gentle movie. It is not action packed or full of thrilling adventure; just a love story and a story about doing better with your life, no matter what. Its about a young man whose dream is to be a famous rock star, yet has been a bit of a lay-about most of his young life. His band is going nowhere, playing at funerals and a small nightclub. On his search for fame, he meets a girl who is totally unimpressed with him, gets into a fight with him and refuses to tell him her name. She also has a boyfriend already, whom she has known since grade school. He challenges her to come see him sing in the club he is playing at,finds out her name and number (right in front of her boyfriend) and the romance blossoms from there. The Simple story, yes? NO. He lives with his sister, who is the mistress in an abusive relationship with a prominent business man in the community. After an abusive situation, which the brother witnesses, he fights with the man and so the businessman...
